That’s me. I am the #1 procrastinator on the planet, it really is unbelievable how bad I am when it comes to certain things.
Sometimes it ends up costing me money, that is when I really hate my poor planning skills.
Take for instance what I’m doing right now, I am taking Defensive Driving(online), I know I should be paying attention to the lame video right now but...OMG it’s SO lame!
I had 90 days to complete the course and get the certificate back to the court...it’s due MONDAY. I had to pay an extra $45 just to have it overnighted (tomorrow) so I can have it on Monday.
90 days, that’s plenty of time, and it’s online so I could have done an hour a day and gotten all 6 hours done painlessly, now I’ve been at this for 5 hours, such a loser.

I know better seriously, I knew all along I was running out of time, but I just did not make this a priority...instead I let myself put it off because I have been dreading this...UGH!

Please tell me you have done something this stupid before, at least once???
(Friglet you do not need to tell me, I know babe...I KNOW!)

I’m used to being able to sing and car dance with no worries, but today I got caught red handed at a red light, no I was not doing anything disgusting to my nose...I was actually singing and doing “da moves” along with a song, so what if it was a Miley*Sirus tune huh?? don’t you judge me!
I was “noding my head like yeah and moving my hips like yeahhhhh” when I looked over and saw a little old man staring at me with a puzzled look on his face, hahaha!

I had my first session with the trainer today, I absolutely LOVE her!
She was so easy to talk to and very knowledgeable, right away she got on the same page with me, she listened to my goals and motivated me.
The gym is doing a Biggest*Loser program and she encouraged me to sign up, I will have a partner and we’ll compete for $600 in prizes, I’m all over that, I tend to be a teeny bit <strike>CRAZY</strike> competitive, so hopefully my partner will be too, if not they also have prizes for an individual winner. I MUST win!

Our fridge and pantry are completely empty, and I have to brave the grocery store or have dog biscuits for dinner.
At least I will have some healthy stuff to eat and snack on, the trainer suggested I eat an apple with some peanut butter or half a banana before working out in the morning, and right now that sounds really good...then again so does cheesecake.

In about 7 weeks I will be on a beach in Mexico with JR celebrating our 5th anniversary, I still can believe that it’s been this long, that’s like 2 blogs ago for me and at least 3 for Friglet, heh!

Diet/workout hard core time is here, no more excuses, wearing a bathing suit in public in 7 weeks? that’s motivation to the 100th degree.
Misty, I do not want to hear how you are looking all kinds of amazingly hot and sexy for your Bahamas trip <strike>bitch</strike>!

I can’t wait to be away from work, this year has been hell and it’s not getting any better. I need this break and I’m going to make the best of it, no sleeping, just sun, sand, sipping frozen adult beverages and shopping! FUN!!

We have family coming into town for Labor Day, I’m so not ready for that...that means cleaning house for overnight guests, and that’s totally different than cleaning for company. This will take a lot of work, my guest room is currently a <strike>disaster</strike> combination office, play room, and catch-all room. Two adults and three kids...can I build a couple of more rooms in 2 weeks?

My poor car goes in the shop in the morning, my passenger door is smashed in and it makes a weird noise at time, I get a rental car on site too but man, there is nothing like having your own car:(

I have a few other things for a longer post and some pictures, since a certain little boy just turned 3!!! That kid...he just OWNS me...words cannot express how I love him.

Make Your Bed

      <dc:subject>This That & The Other</dc:subject>

Do you make your bed every morning?
50% of the time? always???

That is one thing I am guilty of not doing, my mother would get so irritated with me, even as I kid I thought why make it? I’m just going to undo it when I get home.
JR is a neat freak, and yes I am VERY thankful that I didn’t marry a slob <strike>again, </strike>he keeps me on my toes because although I’ve always kept a clean house, I was never one of those “put it back where you got it from” kind of people, not right away, I would eventually hang clothes back up or put up my toiletries a day or 10 later...but with JR that wasn’t going to cut it.
I didn’t want to admit I needed to change *ahem*, but over time his ways grew on me and it helped that he never said anything, I just hated to see him picking up after me, and his side of the bathroom counter always looked neater...and he’s a guy!

These days, after almost 5 years(YAY!!) I’m close to being reformed, the laundry gets done and put away in one quick swoop, dishes don’t linger in the dishwasher once they are dry, my closet and dressers are organized, and it all makes my life so much easier. Who knew?

The one thing I am still not good about is making the bed, I’m usually the last one to get up so it should be easy to do right? get out of bed and make the darn thing...but I don’t.
I do make it before going to bed, I’m a weirdo. I make sure the sheets are all smooth and tucked in just right, the pillows are fluffed, the duvet and top sheet are just so...then I get in bed and all is right in the world.

I’m going to make an effort to make our bed in the morning, and having gotten a new bed will help me, we had a California King before and it was like running laps to get from one side of it to the other.
The Queen size should be no problem.

I came across this great blog, and her latest entry is about bed making...check it out: Thrifty Decor Chick

It’s been a slow week, not many pics to show for what I did...what did I do? can’t think that hard this early in the morning.
Picture quality...not too pretty, all BB pics.

I managed to snap a pic of our new dishes, I love love love them!

I just have to share a shot of Sissy wearing her new sun dress:

The groomer did a shabby job on her this time, I have to find someone else.

This next one is an oldie but a goodie, a co-worker snapped a pic of this <strike>crazy</strike> woman while I was on vacation:

She was all about some patriotic hair, red white and blue...Wow!

Yesterday was a busy day and SO HOT...why do we live here??? (I ask myself this daily from April to late November)
We bought a new bed, window treatment and a deliciously <strike>$$$</strike> soft sheet set for our room.
I can’t wait to go home and try our new bed today...I’m a dork, I know.

In between all the shopping we stopped at Chili*s for lunch and a refreshing drink, I had my favorite Calypso Cooler:

Can you just imagine how good that was? oh, it was goooooood!

I love to people-watch, I got quite a show with this couple:

Her hair...bleached within an inch of it’s life was what first caught my curiosity, but then I noticed how they were sitting with their legs kind of intertwined...she kept rubbing his leg in a non-Chili*s acceptable kind of way:

There were kids there people, how ‘bout you pipe it down a notch eh? (that’s for you Bev)
Also notice the guy on the right, he looks like he’s so beaten down...was it his wife yapping? the drinks were too weak? too strong? the leg rubbing across the bar?
I’m easily amused.

The person who amuses me the most is JR of course, he really is one of the funniest people on the planet to me, he shares that title with Misty, and that girl is FUNNAY!.
I was innocently sipping my Coke Slurpee (it was 103 yesterday!!!!)

When I heard JR say “Damn, that is the REDNECKIEST truck I’ve seen in my life! Look at those BIG-O BALLS!

He knows about Rednecks, he grew up in the country and I never let him forget it!
Did you notice the pipes behind the back window? the purpose of that is to make the truck look like an 18 wheeler, according to Redneck JR...and he should know

Some days are a bit challenging though, not so much for me as it turns out, mostly for JR, the poor man...seriously.
In the past 24 hours I’ve been a bitch on wheels, it’s not even 10 o’clock and I’ve already made a pistol hand signal, cocked and shot make believe bullets at someone...and yes she deserved it!

JR, the long suffering JR, bless his big manly heart...last night I was all over the map, happy-sad-happy-mad-happy-bitchy, the last thing I said <strike>whined</strike> to him before falling asleep was “You don’t like me anymore!”.

I changed my hours at work starting Monday, I love how quiet it is before everyone else gets here.
Everyone else is supposed to be here only 30 minutes after I am but...since they are always late, it gives me almost an hour of bliss!
Not a bad way to start my work day.

I am a very talkative person, as a kid my dad would pay me to be quiet, I always ended up giving the money back a few minutes later, I just had/have to talk.

So it’s odd how much I enjoy my quiet time, I love being here with just the hum of the computer and the coffeemaker...the calm before the storm.
