I’ve always loved a bargain, but following an official financial plan, and sticking to it has opened my eyes to many things, one being how easily we I spend money on little things here and there but it adds up.
One of the big changes we’ve made is to use cash or debit only...NO CREDIT CARDS...and yes no more store charge cards, that one hurt me deeply.
I wanted a filing system to keep my cash ORGANIZED and ready, but all I found was either really ugly, too expensive or could not be customized.

So I went to Target, I got (yes Friglet, yet ANOTHER) daytimer, the 10 or so I have at home are too big and bulky.
This baby fits right in my purse:

My favorite part is that I got to use these pretty pink and brown recipe box inserts, and I was able to laminate, label and hole punch them! too cuuuuute! right?
Much better than the usual envelopes people use, and did I mention PINK?!

I already had the cards, and I have about 12 more unused, the Daytimer was marked down to $9.99, Score!
