JR and I have been working on a few DIY projects for about a year, we made a list and have been crossing things off, and of course adding more.

The biggest job and the one which will make the biggest impact is flooring, we had 15 year old carpet...so gross!
I thought it just looked like crap, when we JR pulled up it was disgusting! never ever no no no more carpet for me!

Here is the nasty pad and the disgustingly gross carpet:

We had it cleaned every couple of months because hello? it was OLD and Hello again? Sissy! after it was cleaned it looked o.k...but yuck!
We also had teeny tiny early 1990’s ceramic tile in the entry way, hated it!

It will all soon be replaced with wood floors, I have not been this excited about anything in years.
I will post pictures during if I’m there when it gets installed, and of course the after shots too.

I’m feeling like such a grown-up, we are on a Debt-Free plan and we saved up for this project!
We saved a lot by doing the prep work ourselves...O.K JR did it all:)
