No hurry

12.12.2008 • in the late morning

I have my grandson today and I had our day planned, we’d get some shopping done, go to a work luncheon and then more shopping and errands.
He woke up from his morning nap and the plan changed.

He was being so cuddly and sweet, he sat on the floor and started playing with his toys...he looked at me and pointed to a spot next to him for me to sit and play.
That did it, the stores will be there tomorrow and the errands will too, he will go home today and this moment will not come again. He wants his Nana to hang out and play and that’s what we’ve done.
I’m in no hurry now, I was trying to stretch time so I could do everything on my list and now that doesn’t matter.

I’m off to make memories with my boy, and tonight I’ll clean up the candy canes and cereal off the floor, this is play time.

That is so sweet - and something we should all do more often :-) Get on the floor and play with our children… I know I forget to do it more often than I should.

Hope you are enjoying your wonderful day with your grandson!

I love those moments. Boys are so damn sweet. Mason will rub my fave and say “I luff you mommy”
