I started out at Home Depot yesterday, it was a nice day and so perfect for garden shopping, I got a few things there.
They didn’t have any bulbs, but I knew Lowe’s did and they are just across the street.
I ended up getting an Orchid
It was on sale for $3.99 and all by itself on a shelf everyone forgot...so I had to get her...no matter how bad she looks I will save her!
That looks bad right?
Poor thing.
I followed the instructions on the package and got this stuff and potted it, we’ll see how this goes.
If I can keep this alive and it blooms I will try something more challenging.
I need a life.
I got some beautiful Hydrangeas at Lowe’s too, I have them in their original pots until the flower beds are ready and will probably get more.
I got a few hanging baskets and some other things to brighten up the porch...it doesn’t look quite as sad now.
I am pretty sure the orchid is Dena’s favorite flower. Aren’t they really finicky?
