I changed my hours at work starting Monday, I love how quiet it is before everyone else gets here.
Everyone else is supposed to be here only 30 minutes after I am but...since they are always late, it gives me almost an hour of bliss!
Not a bad way to start my work day.
I am a very talkative person, as a kid my dad would pay me to be quiet, I always ended up giving the money back a few minutes later, I just had/have to talk.
So it’s odd how much I enjoy my quiet time, I love being here with just the hum of the computer and the coffeemaker...the calm before the storm.
How are these people not fired if they show up 30 minutes late?
I know what you mean. I wake up super early so I have quiet time before my kids get up. I get so much more done during that time.
