Just a real quick post, I have been busy and as usual there is some drama at work, it never ends.

My Grandson and my Daddy both had birthdays:

Do any of y’all still call your dad “daddy”? just wondering.
Our baby boy is growing up way too fast, I’m sure some of you remember when he was born...*sigh*

We had a visit from my cousin and her family, the kids wanted to experience the “real” Texas so we spent 2 days at The Ft.Worth Stockyards. We all had a blast.
I have a ton of pictures to upload to Flickr and I’ll post the link later today.

In preparation for our visitors I hit the grocery store, I got snacks and some adult drinks.
Now, JR and I don’t drink much at all. I stick to a couple of glasses of wine or wine coolers once in a blue moon, JR is the same but he likes his margaritas.
So, being the indecisive girl I am, I didn’t really know what to get, so I got a bit of everything. JR said we had to get Lone Star beer, I thought we also needed Corona and for the girls I got 3 different flavors of wine coolers…

Mind you, our town just recently passed the sale of beer and wine, this is the tightest part of the Bible Belt.
Being a good blogger...I decided to take a picture, I found it all so funny, seeing all of this piled up in my cart...I thought to myself “How funny would it be to run into our pastor” and I snickered to myself as I walked to the register. Of course y’all can guess what happened right???
I ran into A CHURCH LADY!!!!
Leave it to me, seriously.

As I mentioned work has been awful. things are really really bad...so bad that the best thing that happened last week was seeing this:

Didi the crackhead in our dumpster, standing on a toilet no less...I swear I stopped the car and just had to laugh, she waved and I took her picture.
Crack may be wack, but it sure makes Didi happy.
