I finally got some serious Christmas shopping done, I had no choice because we had my family’s gift exchange on Sunday.
I also managed to get JR’s big gift and a couple of other things for my daughter but I still have a long way to go.

I’m still sick, this cough is not wanting to go away and it gets so much worse at night that I have slept very little the past few days.
I really need to get better, I have a pre-op appointment tomorrow afternoon and all of the pre-op lab work on Monday...oh joy! I get to be stuck with needles and pee in a cup.

We have our office Christmas party today and then I’m out of here until mid January sometime...niiiiice!

I should update again before Christmas but just in case I don’t, have a wonderful Christmas!!!

Edit: Since Shelly keeps wanting me to flash her...I will probably post some after pictures, and keep y’all informed on how everything went, probably via Misty because I doubt I will be in any shape to do much the first couple of days.

Not enough ice to call off work today, just enough to make my drive slow and slippery.

Oh well what are you gonna do? what I’m doing is concentrating on Thursday which is my last official day in the office for over a month!!
Between our usual 10 day break and my surgery I get a nice vacay.

I decided today that I am not going to go crazy trying to get Christmas “perfected”, I just don’t have the time nor the patience and it’s just not worth stressing myself out.
One thing that will save me hours is not wrapping gifts, I love to wrap all the gifts with pretty bows and ribbons but this year I’m bagging it!
I have to stock up on bags and tissue but that’s easy to do.
Normally I make sure I have wrapping paper to match my tree and I anally buy 4 different prints so that each family gets a different one, that actually makes it easy to load gifts in the car when it’s time to go to my in laws or wherever. I just don’t have it in me this year.
Guess who doesn’t have her tree up???

Have I mentioned I’m sick as a dog??? well I am. I’ve got the crud everyone has had and passed on to me.

O.K so I have a question, what is the big thing you want for Christmas this year?
I think I want an iPod touch.
I would ask for the Treo Pro but it won’t be available to Sprint until January somethingorother...10th I think, my brain is fried right now.

I think I’m going home soon, I’m feeling worse and I need to get some cough medicine...ugh!

We’ve got ice and sleet all over the roads right now and I hope this mess sticks around, I could use a day off from work.

Of course around here we never know if it will stick, some of the roads are icy already but who knows if it’s enough to keep me home.
Either way I’m enjoying the 25 degree weather, we don’t get much of that around these here parts buckaroos.
I’m prepared.

I have my grandson today and I had our day planned, we’d get some shopping done, go to a work luncheon and then more shopping and errands.
He woke up from his morning nap and the plan changed.

He was being so cuddly and sweet, he sat on the floor and started playing with his toys...he looked at me and pointed to a spot next to him for me to sit and play.
That did it, the stores will be there tomorrow and the errands will too, he will go home today and this moment will not come again. He wants his Nana to hang out and play and that’s what we’ve done.
I’m in no hurry now, I was trying to stretch time so I could do everything on my list and now that doesn’t matter.

I’m off to make memories with my boy, and tonight I’ll clean up the candy canes and cereal off the floor, this is play time.
