Thank you for all of your supportive comments, emails and texts, for my daughter in-law and our family.
She came through the surgery fine, and she’s doing well.

My last week at my previous job was very long, that was a small form of torture for me, not only because several people stopped by to say goodbye each day, but also because I had nothing to do.
I’d already taken care of everything related to work, I’d cleaned out my computer and moved out of my office by Tuesday.
Looking at empty walls and shelves was so depressing.
I spent most of my days in my co-workers offices. They didn’t seem to mind me loitering.
The last day was tough, we’d decided to have lunch and a lot of former co-workers came, that meant so much to me.
Twelve years is a long time, and saying bye to my 3 closest friends broke my heart.

I got an email asking me to report to my new job this coming Tuesday. I was hoping to have a week off in between but no biggie, I’m excited.

I had a dream about the first day, I got taken by bus with a group of 20 people to a team building exercise...in the desert, I was wearing heels and a business suit in 108 temperature, torture!
Gee, anxiety much?

Some days are very hard to deal with, life sometimes gives us trials so big that you can’t help but ask why...the worst part is having no answers, and knowing you may never get them.
Our daughter in-law’s pregnancy is no more. No heartbeat, no movement.

I already miss our angel baby.

We got a lot of snow today, it’s all starting to melt now but I’m still hoping it will freeze overnight.
I would love to get a day off from work tomorrow, I could get so much done around here...or I could stay in my pajamas and do nothing at all.
Decisions, decisions.

I’ve got some big news to share with y’all in a few days, it will be a private entry so be sure you’re still registered.

Date night last night, we’d planned on having dinner and then going to see True Grit or Little Fockers depending on the time.
We were at dinner when we got a call from Nina, she wanted us to talk to our grandson to see if he’d calm down, poor baby ended up getting the flu, even though he got a shot. He’s been sick since Saturday night:(
He was so upset grouchy and he wouldn’t even talk to us, so we decided to skip the movie and go see him.
We surprised him, that boy loves surprises and was so happy to see us, he was also happy that we’d brought his favorite truck which he’d left at our house.

We got home close to 11:00 and I’m dragging today, I swear it feels like I haven’t slept since early November.

Some of you already saw the Sonogram on Twitter, but I’m posting it here anyway...isn’t HE *crossing fingers* the most adorable little peanut you’ve seen? LOL!
