Thank you for all of your supportive comments, emails and texts, for my daughter in-law and our family.
She came through the surgery fine, and she’s doing well.
My last week at my previous job was very long, that was a small form of torture for me, not only because several people stopped by to say goodbye each day, but also because I had nothing to do.
I’d already taken care of everything related to work, I’d cleaned out my computer and moved out of my office by Tuesday.
Looking at empty walls and shelves was so depressing.
I spent most of my days in my co-workers offices. They didn’t seem to mind me loitering.
The last day was tough, we’d decided to have lunch and a lot of former co-workers came, that meant so much to me.
Twelve years is a long time, and saying bye to my 3 closest friends broke my heart.
I got an email asking me to report to my new job this coming Tuesday. I was hoping to have a week off in between but no biggie, I’m excited.
I had a dream about the first day, I got taken by bus with a group of 20 people to a team building exercise...in the desert, I was wearing heels and a business suit in 108 temperature, torture!
Gee, anxiety much?
