I’m not happy that the flickr app for Blackberry no longer works, that’s such crap.
I want to post pics to my blog but I want it to be easy, emailing it is so 2005.

JR and the grandson surprised me at work today, seeing that boy unexpectedly is the best the best the best! *sigh*
You guys...he’s getting so grown up, I don’t want it to go by so fast, where is my chubby snuggly baby boy?? and the curls? the curls are kept cut short now and I miss the curls so much...he’s all boy now.
I love this stage too, but I see baby pictures or videos and..

This wonderfully touching story is now interrupted by “NaaaaaaaNaaaaa...I’m dooooooone...you can wipe me noooooow!”

So yeah, the prince now has a clean hiney and I can get back to my story, LOL!

This weekend is going to be sunny and warm, so we’re going to take him to the park before we have to take him back home.
Then JR and I are meeting at our friends Jen and Chris’ house for drinks, then 5 other couples are joining us for dinner, it’s not that we don’t like them and have to be tipsy to endure them, we just want to have some time for just the 4 of us to hang out.
Jen is going to make Caramel apple Martinis for us, the men are on their own, we need our girl time fix.

Sunday I hope to wake up with a lot of energy, I really want to clean out my closet and dressers, I’m going to give up and face the fact that “winter” is over and I must bring out the Spring clothes.
That makes me sad, I hate summers in Texas...basically six months of pure hell for me, yuck!
The only thing that cheers me up this time of the year is sandal shopping, I’m shallow like that, shoes always make things better.

I’m being summoned to go watch The wonder Pets, so I’m off...I love that show anyway, that Ming Ming is so freaking cute:)

I didn’t notice for a few days, that says a lot about the state of my blogging, I suck.

I’ve been busy busy busy, work is crazy and my brain is complete mush most days, but I love it, I really really do.

As Smizzo suggested I need to update my sidebar, I have some cool event coming up, like seeing my Bees in Vegas this summer, I cannot wait, it’s been 3 years...and that is just too long to be away from one’s Bees and Vegas.
We’ve got a trip to Colorado in July, a week on a beach somewhere in August...and hopefully a few short trips in between. I’ve got an itch to hit the road soon.

It’s March??? whoa.

All is right in my little world now, I got my Blackberry style to sync both of my Bluetooths (Blueteeth??) and I figured out how to use the camera so that my finger doesn’t cover the lens.
I was at the store ready to chunk it on the counter and throw a hissy fit, but they took care of the issues and I’m happy now.
I love having a flip again...I’m happy with the simple things.

Speaking of, I bought Bambi on DVD last night and watched it with my grandson, another generation that loves and appreciates Bambi, I love it!
I thought it would be too slow paced for him, and not as visually captivating as some of the newer movies but he was fine with it, good boy!

I’m off to sit on the front porch and sip a beverage, my favorite time of the day...rocking in silence.

I’ve had this little stupid nagging headache for about 3 days, and it’s getting on my last nerve.
I’m pretty sure it’s due to stress, my job was crazy last week and it’s taken me a day to feel like myself and get the knots in my back to relax.
Hopefully next week will be better, I do love the job though...go figure.

So today I met a friend for breakfast and then went shopping, a little LOT retail therapy and girl time was just what I needed.
I came home to my grandson, he’d been at my dad’s with JR and he’d played really hard so we took a glorious nap.
My dad loves that boy so much, and I love how close they are. One of my favorite things my dad did with us when we were kids was fly kites, I’ve told JR that many times and he took a kite over there today so my dad got to teach his great-grandson something so simple but so special, that boy had a great time and so did the big boys
I love traditions.

JR is taking the baby back home and it’s a beautiful night, I sat on the porch for about an hour just listening to the wind chimes...it’s life’s simple pleasure that bring the most joy.

I am really going to do better, I know I’ve said it before but this time it’s for real, promise!

At this minute I’m in heaven on earth, my grandson just came to sit right next to me on the couch, he is literally attached to my hip, I love it when he’s cuddly.
He’s watching Tuff*Puppy and cracking up. There is nothing I love more than his laughter, not even cheesecake.
My baby boy is getting so big and mature, I miss his babyhood like crazy but I love this stage too, he is such a BOY!

My new job rocks, it’s totally different and busier than my previous one but in a good way. I’m happy with my decision.
The Girl is starting her teaching career, just like my darling Smizzo and she’s loving it, she was born to be a teacher...I’m so proud of her!
JR is good too, we are planning a couple of weekend trips soon, I don’t have vacay until July.

Well, the boy is requesting a blanket and pillow and a movie...life is so good y’all!!

The new job is keeping me very busy, in a good way though and I like it. My co-workers are great and very helpful to us new people.
The only downside is the lack of access to any websites that do not pertain to work...yeah, what up with that shit??? oh wait they are paying me to WORK.
I may have to break down and get an iPad, just so I can do my thing, gosh that would stink to have to go to such measures

The family is well, nothing going on and everyone is healthy and happy.

JR and I tried to go on a date last night, silly us we forgot there’s a Superbowl happening here, the lines to every single restaurant were crazy, traffic a nightmare so we had to cut the night short.
