Sucky sucky Blogger...but I love you long time
I’m sneezing,my eyes are itchy, the yard boy cutie is here, JR is talking about grilling...can you say Spring?
I need to do something with the yard, it looks like hell but we just haven’t had time, we’ve had something going on every weekend.
Last Sunday we drove about 3 hours to a town where JR and his family had Barbecue years ago
My in-laws love re-living family traditions and I love that about them.
The trip was fun, my FIL drives like a bat out of hell, my MIL talked non-stop for the first hour, then she fell asleep in the back seat with me, kept bobbing from side to side...gotta love making memories.
On the way back we got lost, of course the men refused to admit it, and I realized that the GPS is the new gas station...remember back in the day when your dad would refuse to stop and ask for directions? now men refuse to consult the GPS, just as annoying!
The past week was a hard one at work, lots of changes and some extra drama on the side, so I was happy to see it end.
Friday night JR and I went to the opening of Lone*Star*Park, I love horse races but we were there to see our favorite Country band...OMG how I love live music!
Saturday we had a get-together with our couple friends, we went to Chris and Jen’s for Cocktails before dinner, Jen is my wine buddy and she always manages to find just the right bottle:
It was very tasty too:) and I usually don’t care for reds.
We went to dinner at one of the couple’s homes and had a great dinner, we laughed the entire night and I swear, my tummy felt like I’d done at least a thousand crunches!
This morning we got up early and met JR’s kids and the grandbabies in Ft.Worth for the Arts festival, we go every year and have a ball, the weather was perfect, cool and breezy with lots of sun.
The food, the food the fooood...so good, which brings me to a little item I need help with, my butt??? it is doing something different these days and I do not like it, it’s going flat and I refuse to get old man ass!
So do those toning sneakers actually work? they’re not as ugly as they were when they first came out, so which are best?
I’m leaning toward the Reebok Easytones...my second question is, do you have to actually WALK for them to work???
