Next week is Thanksgiving, yes, so get off your ass and get to the grocery store and stuff.
I only have to make one side dish and a dessert, so I get off easily.
I can cook, I just have to be in the mood for it and I’m usually not, I’m usually in the mood to sit at the kitchen table and talk to the people doing the cooking, I provide the entertainment for them to make the time pass...I feel that my job is as important as that of the cook, I’m a giver.

Christmas. I am putting my foot down this year and forcing myself to stay on my shopping budget, and to get it all done by the weekend of Thanksgiving.
I refuse to stress myself out, gift cards are my friends and I will embrace them for certain people and not feel one iota of guilt.

Anyone going out at the asscrack of dawn on Black Friday???

I don’t know how many times I hit snooze this morning but, it must have been over the allowed number because I woke up on my own 45 minutes later. That threw my entire day off, I was still on time but I hate feeling so rushed.

Tomorrow I will not hit snooze...it’s just not worth being bitchy all day and having only me to blame...that’s no fun at all.

The Girl and I are going to watch “Mean Girls”, she is appalled that I’ve never see it, it better be good if I’m going to be up past my bedtime.

I had an appointment to get my hair cut and styled today, my hairdresser is back to a salon near me so that makes me a happy girl.

My hair has grown so much and I’m going to keep it long for a while, so I had her cut some wispy bangs and lots of layers throughout, leaving the length the same...I absolutely love it!
On a whim I decided to take my nails off and get a new set, it so time consuming but I love having a fresh new set.
I am down 2 more sizes, nothing tastes as good as smaller jeans look and feel, nothing, not even cheesecake.

Now we’re hanging out with our grandson, he’s giddy and giggling and that makes me feel better than a haircut or smaller clothes.

I have this friend I’ve known since high school and she’s been married like a million years, probably 24, to the same guy and although she dated a lot before meeting her husband she didn’t have sex until her wedding night.
Every so often she will ask me things about sex, not personal things just things like have I done this or that. I jokingly tell her she’s calling me a tramp by assuming I know these things.

Having been single from age 21 to 29 I dated a few times BWAHAHAHAHA and then I was separated from 2002 to 2005...or was it 2003?? who cares, anyway, obviously my number is higher than hers and one of her latest questions were about the number.
I’ve never told her what it is, but she probably thinks it’s lower...maybe higher, again who cares, but she asked me if JR knows what my number is, if it’s higher than his and if I am glad I’ve had that number.
We talked a bit more and she admitted that she does wish she’d know what to compare her relationship to, she doesn’t think it’s ever been good, she doesn’t know what all the fuss is about...that made me sad for her, just because you are with just one person doesn’t mean you have to have so-so sex.
She’s asked me some pretty detailed questions lately, poor thing she just blushes and I can tell it takes her forever to work up the nerve to ask me certain things, and I try to go easy on her since I can be a smartass...like the other day she said she and her husband have only done it MILITARY style!
I had to hold back from blurting out a WTH is that??????????

I’m hoping she will benefit from our talks, and maybe next time I see her hubby he’ll thank me...he’d better thank me!

This all brought me to think about my number I am completely fine with it, I don’t think it’s too much...JR knows what it is and teases me because yes, mine is higher...but ONLY because he was married for 17 freaking years...had he been single as long as I was? please we all know men are total sluts.
Does your husband or significant other know your real number? do you shave off a couple of people? and if so what is your criteria for the shaving off?
If the sex was really really bad do you still count it?
If it was OVER before it started...does that count?
I’m not being nosy really, just call it research for my friend;)

Poor girl, I’m hoping soon she will be able to leave the light on...baby steps.

Dallas Divas and Daughters...OMG the latest episode was kind of so-so until the GIFT was given.
The trashy mom gave her daughter a picture of herself, instead of the Vintage Caddy the SheBrat was begging to get for graduation...the reaction of the other girls and mothers was priceless! Too bad I couldn’t find that for y’all, but enjoy the hot mess that is Patty...Blegh!
